It cannot be denied that feminism has brought about important strides for women's rights. But, a strain of aggressive feminism has emerged, fixated on vilifying men and masculinity. This harmful ideology ignores men's positive contributions to society and the sacrifices they often make. From a young age, boys are pressured to conform to rigid ideals of stoicism. They're told to "man up" and repress emotions, leading to potential mental health struggles. Meanwhile, societal issues like higher male suicide rates and workplace deaths are downplayed. In familial settings, men often shoulder the burden as primary breadwinners. Their sacrifices for their families, including long working hours and missed milestones, often go unacknowledged. The whirring hum of technology lulls us into a false sense of progress. Skyscrapers pierce the heavens, monuments to human ingenuity, yet beneath their steel and glass, a different story unfolds. We, the builders, are morphing, evolving into creatures of cold logic and hollow desires. The whispers of empathy are fading, replaced by the clink of coins and the ping of notifications. We are becoming machines, efficient and productive, but oh, so devoid of the spark that makes us human. Remember laughter that echoed through sun-drenched meadows, unburdened by the weight of comparison or the curated feeds of manufactured joy? Remember tears that cleansed the soul, raw and unfiltered, a testament to the fragility and beauty of our shared existence? These echoes are growing faint, swallowed by the din of self-absorption.
