This harmful ideology ignores men's positive contributions to society and the sacrifices they often make. From a young age, boys are pressured to conform to rigid ideals of stoicism. They're told to "man up" and repress emotions, leading to potential mental health struggles. Meanwhile, societal issues like higher male suicide rates and workplace deaths are downplayed. In familial settings, men often shoulder the burden as primary breadwinners. Their sacrifices for their families, including long working hours and missed milestones, often go unacknowledged.
